The Kelly’s Heroes running team is pounding the pavement this fall – putting in the miles to bring hope to pancreatic cancer patients. Next up: Team captain Bill Kettelberger takes on the Philadelphia marathon Nov. 22. You can cheer on Bill and our other Kelly’s Heroes runners with a donation via our team page. Meet this year’s runners:

Team captain Bill Kettelberger is running the Philadelphia Marathon – in the city where he and Steve worked together for years at the Philadelphia Inquirer. Bill’s wife Sharon finished the Ocean City Half Marathon – running the same course over the bridge and along the boards that Steve ran.

Father-daughter duo George Cepeda and Karina Cepeda have conquered the New York City and London marathons – but they always return to Kelly’s Heroes to help raise funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer research. They completed the Philadelphia Distance Run in Steve’s honor.
